WKF AUSTRIA next step to moving forward !

„VIP DINNER BOXING“ is Austrian national team’s preparations for the World Championship from October 19th to 24th in Colombia include the first of several planned international matches.

WKF AUSTRIA is now taking another step towards publicizing its DINNER BOXING event at the 4-star Hotel Steinberger in Altlengbach, Lower Austria.

Weigh-in, license check, medical check, WKF sports pass or day licenses for guests, and registration in the sports hall on Friday, April 10th, promptly from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

ONLY ONLINE REGISTRATION POSSIBLE

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, April 8th, at 8 p.m.

No late registrations or changes are permitted on Friday, April 10, at the weigh-in or on the day of the tournament! All documents and lists will be printed out by Thursday, April 9! For men and women, all age groups, including cadets 15-18, adults classes 18-35, and veterans 35+

Amateur boxing is next time again officially part of the WKF World Championships from October 18th to 24th in Cartagena, Colombia

As partners of our WKF BOXING Division, many nations are already fully involved in Cartagena!

For example, the AUSTRIA BOXING UNION  President Mr. Daniel HIRLAU has nominated a full Austrian team of women and men in the national boxing team.

Many nations from Latin America, West and East Europe, Africa, North America, Australia and also Asia have strong male and females BOXERS and are very interested in the great boxing World Championships in Cartagena!

Each country can send two participants per weight class for the World Championship

The international WKF license is also valid for all boxers worldwide!

But – for legal reasons there is no fight WITHOUT a valid WKF license.

From now on, Worldwide ALL BOXERS – women and men can use our free offer and apply to be included in the BOXING world rankings.

Once again, the Guggenberger Sports Hall in 2100 Korneuburg near by Vienna will host the next International WKF AUSTRIA TOP event on March 21, 2026.

The WKF Lower Austria State Association, with President Florian Bartl and “AUSTRIA BOXING UNION” President and Supervisor Daniel Z. Hirlau, are once again organizing an intentional tournament for BOXING, KICKBOXING, and MMA.

Many teams and well-known clubs from our neighboring countries have already confirmed their participation!

International WKF referees with a valid license are welcome!

Through the mediation of our WKF Chief Diplomat and Secretary General Roman Viktorovich LOGISCH, the Japanese legend Takayuki KOHIRUIMAKI was also invited to Minsk. 

After intensive discussions, he was appointed to lead the WKF in Japan.

Soon we will see first TOP class Boxers – male and females – in our Boxing World ranking !

Furthermore, another legend, the great MUSASHI, will be working on his team.

Akio Mori (森 昭生) better known by the ring name Musashi (武蔵),  is a four-time K-1 Japan tournament champion and two-time K-1 World Grand Prix finalist.

On September 20, 2025, one of the largest international WKF tournaments will once again be held at the Guggenberger Sports Hall in Austria

The WKF disciplines for male and females will be K-1 and amateur BOXING. Official WKF age and weight classes will apply. You can find the announcement here , registration for your team is just per mail possible

Many downloads on the WKF EUROPE website demonstrate the great interest in the 2025 Austrian Open.

The weight check, WKF license, and medical check will only be conducted on Friday, September 19th , in the sport hall from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Video weigh-ins are not permitted in the WKF.

NO WEIGH-INS ARE POSSIBLE on Saturday, September 20

This event is open for cadets, women and men of all federations, countries and teams!

international WKF licensed referees are very welcome !
